Accidents - In an emergency always dial 999
We have the facilities to deal with minor injuries at the
Surgery but if possible please telephone first so we can alert a
doctor or nurse. Major injuries are dealt with at the Accident &
Emergency Unit, The Ipswich Hospital, Heath Road, Ipswich. Tel:

Home Visits
Requests for home visits should be made by 10:30am. Only ask the
doctor to call only if you are too ill to attend the Surgery.
Give the receptionist an idea of the problem to help the doctor
assess the urgency of the visit. All information is handled in
strictest confidence.
Telephone advice
Your doctor will give advice over the telephone when not
consulting. If the doctor is consulting when you call the
receptionist may ask you to ring back between 11:00-11:30am. The
receptionists are able to give test results over the telephone.
Please ring after 12:00 noon for test results to ensure the post
has been processed.
Prescriptions
Earls Soham Surgery is a Dispensing Practice for
patients living more than one mile from Pharmacy. Please
give at least two working days notice for repeat
prescriptions. We cannot take repeat prescriptions
requests via the telephone. |
