Hearing loss is common.
Hearing aids are available on the NHS. If you are concerned about your hearing, you should speak to one of our team. If they think you would benefit from a hearing aid, you can be referred to a local audiology clinic for further assessment.
The Hearing Care Centre
The Hearing Care Centre is a private hearing care company offering services for all hearing concerns throughout East Anglia. They hold a fortnightly clinic on Thursdays at Framlingham but work independently from the surgery. Their audiologists can carry out hearing assessments, fit patients with the latest hearing aids & provide aftercare. They can also provide advice for tinnitus management, take impressions for custom-made noise protection and undertake ear wax removal.
To find out more about their services and to book an appointment visit the Hearing Care Centre website or call Freephone: 0808 503 5241 or 01473 230335

People suffering from a build-up of ear wax are not entitled to have their ears syringed on the NHS in England. We do not offer ear syringing at Framlingham Surgery.
You can get advice about ear wax build up from the local pharmacist.
Alternatively, there are several private providers for ear syringing locally. Suffolk Ear Care can be contacted on 07738 885858 or you can contact the Hearing Care Centre
