Patient Participation Group
Framlingham Medical Practice is keen to ensure that patients are involved in decisions about the range and quality of our services.
A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of patients, carers and GP practice staff who meet to discuss practice issues and patient experience to help improve the service.
The role of a PPG is
- To give patients and practice staff the opportunity to meet and discuss topics of mutual interest.
- To provide a means for patients to become more involved and make suggestions about the healthcare services they receive.
- To explore issues from patient complaints and patient surveys, contribute to actions plans and help monitor improvements.
- To contribute feedback to the practice on National Patient Survey results and Friends and Family Test feedback to propose developments or change.
- To support health awareness and patient education.

NHS App & Patient Communication Survey
Do you have the NHS App? Did you know that you can use the App to view parts of your medical record, certain test results and request your repeat prescriptions?
Using the NHS App for your prescriptions is the most streamlined, efficient and quickest way for the surgery dispensary to process your requests.
Some of our PPG members will be in the practice reception area on the following days during October: Monday 7th, morning and afternoon, Tuesday 8th in the morning, Wednesday 9th, morning and afternoon and Friday 11th in the morning. They will be able to speak with you about the App, help you with getting set up and assist with any issues you may have using the App.
They will also be handing out a patient survey regarding communication with the practice. Your feedback is important to us, so please do pop in to have a chat with them or alternatively, please scan the QR code below on your mobile phone or tablet to complete the survey online.
